🌸 व्रत का महत्व (Importance)
Sheetla Saptami, also called Basoda, is dedicated to Goddess Sheetla who is
believed to protect devotees from diseases, infections and epidemics. Worship
of the Goddess brings health, protection from illness, and peace in the
household.
शीतला सप्तमी (बासोड़ा) का व्रत माता शीतला को समर्पित है। मान्यता है कि माता शीतला की पूजा से रोग, संक्रमण तथा महामारी से रक्षा होती है। यह व्रत परिवार के स्वास्थ्य, रोग-निवारण और सुख-शांति के लिए किया जाता है।
🌼 व्रत का नियम (Main Rule)
English:
On this day devotees offer cold food (Basoda) prepared the previous day.
Fresh cooking is avoided and the food is first offered to Goddess Sheetla.
इस दिन एक दिन पहले बना ठंडा भोजन (बासोड़ा) माता शीतला को अर्पित किया जाता है। इस दिन घर में नया भोजन नहीं बनाया जाता और पहले माता को भोग लगाकर ही भोजन ग्रहण किया जाता है।
